Research Committee Aims and objectives
Aim: To promote the value and impact of research, to raise its profile in clinical practice to influence patient health and wellbeing to ensure patient needs are met with evidence informed individualised care, by disseminating research relevant to osteopathic practice and to facilitate collaboration and communication.
4 key objectives:
- Profile research relevant to osteopathy, to the EFFO community
- Raise awareness of research opportunities in EFFO member countries through the EFFO and promote collaboration
- Advocate and encourage osteopaths, through the EFFO stakeholders, to embrace good standards of clinical practice in research and research education
- Represent the EFFO on matters of research and support the other EFFO working groups
